Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Within legal rights to know?

My wife and her sister were guardians for my father-in-law. My wife was guardian of the person and her sister was guardian of the estate. Her sister abruptly left the attorney and went to another without consulting my wife. We are not sure if the attorney dropped the case or if my wife's sister found another the attorney. Since the previous attorney was the attorney for the guardianship and my wife was half of the guardianship ... does she have a legal right to know why her sister found another attorney?

Re: Within legal rights to know?

Yes, because she is at the least "a person of interest." I recommend that she call the new attorney to get the information she is seeking.
