Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Probate

My stepfather passed away and I am the executor of his will. He left the house to me (my name is not on the deed) which he owes 86,000 and owes 10,000 in debt. The house is only worth about 100,000. I do not want it. Just what are my responsibilites as the executor? He has nothing else of value. Do I need a lawyer or can I just let the bank take over. My name is on nothing. I just want this over as quickly as possible. What steps do I need to take. It doesn't make since that I should have to pay out of my pocket for a lawyer for getting nothing in return. Please give me some direction.

Re: Probate

I suggest visiting probate court where your father's will would be administered, tell the clerks at the administration desk your situation, and ask for the proper forms to fill out.
