Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Is there time limit to settling an estate?

I am one of the beneficiaries of my uncle, who passed away 9 months ago, estate. There is no property or home to sell. All personal posessions have been divided or given away. There is a trust and financial assets to be divided. Is there a time limit for distribution of these?

Re: Is there time limit to settling an estate?

The trust may indicate an exact timeframe. Often the timeframe is "reasonable" so I suggest contacting the trustee or attorney.
