These legal forms (Wills, Etc.), do they

not need to be filed with an attorney's

office or the courthouse to really be

legal after you are finished filling them

out?

Once a will is executed, it is not required to be filed with the attorney or courthouse. Your heirs must present the original will after your death so it must be kept in a safe place. This is the reason individuals choose to keep them with their attorney or file them at the courthouse.
