Legal Question in Business Law in Oklahoma

Salesman quits and will not give back bids we paid him to do.

One of our salesmen quit and went to work for a competator. He kept a pager that belonged to the company. He also kept all of our bids and takeoffs that he was paid to do. we also suspect that he made a copy of our price sheets. He is now calling on all the builders that he gave bids to on our behalf and telling them that he is now with another company and that he can beat our price. what can we do about this please let me know if it would do any good to contact a lawyer.

Unless you have a no compete agreement with your ex salesman, you probably do not have a cause of action with regard to the salesman now competing with you. However, you are entitled to the property he has taken with him if in fact it is company property.
