Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Oklahoma

I have a question about the proof I have that I lent someone money.

I lent someone $4,585 total starting in April through to May of this year. They asked for the money through several text messages sent to me from their phone to mine.I kept these messages saved on my phone just in case they decided that they didn't want to pay me back.I clearly told them that I expected them to pay me back and they agreed to.I really don't think they are going to pay me back,is this enough proof to bring to small claims court and sue them with or should I also go to their phone company and get proof for the court that this actually is their phone number? Also this person is 17 years old,can I sue them or do I need to sue their parents?I'm not sure, any advice you can give me will be appreciated, thanks.

My question is why would you give someone $4500+ and not have a contract (not that a 17 year old could legally enter a contract)? Is the person disputing the debt? Have you spoke with them? Good Luck. -Bob-
