questions on getting fired

If a person gets fired after working three years at a place, and had vacation days and sick days comi ng to him is the employer suppose to pay it?

Yes, so long as they are fully accrued and available pursuant to the contraact with the employee ( employee handbook etc.)

Some vacation is forfeited if not used every year, for example.
