Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Oklahoma

broke back

I had a car wreck in March of 05 with a compression fracture of the T12, the doctor that was over seeing my care was a neuro surgeon and was going to do surgery and then decided that he would just do pallitive measures. My family and myself know that I never had a ortho surgeon consult, I have seen several ortho surgeons in the past two years who both stated that i should of had surgery due to pattern of my break. I truly believe that he did not do surgery because of no insurance, but my bills were paid by workmans comp. I am needing to know the time frame that I can look into my records and be able to do anything

Re: broke back

If your injury was workers compensation, whether you had health insurance or not would not have factored into the neuro surgeon's decision; he/she would have been paid by workers compensation insurance, not your health insurance. Also, since it was work comp, you may have a question better asked to an attorney regularly handling work comp; ie, you are asking if you can reopen your work comp claim.
