Re: personnel injury

The offer sounds low, but there are a number of things unknown based on your question. Is the insurance company yours or the the other drivers? Is $3900 the total charge or the allowable amount paid by your health insurance? Does the medical provider have a lien on the claim, and if so, is it for $3900? Generally, the offer sounds low. Although not a certainty, insurers can and do pay multiples of medical charges; e.g., two times medical, to cover medical costs and the pain/suffering component as well as lost time/wages/opportunity/etc.
