Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oregon

Living Trust

I have been told that because I own property in two states, I must have two separate living trusts. One for each state. Is this true?

No, unless you own property in a very few states (there are a few states that require the entire trust to be recorded in the county recorder's office; I would do a "land trust" for those particular states).

You do need to record the deeds to your real property in each county where you own real property. Maybe that is what you were told?
