Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

In my Legal career i havent seen it in practice. There can be number of reasons for that. However i heard that it has been challenged in Federal Shariat Court several times but it hasnt been repealed yet which means its still applicable and you can argue on that in the courts of law.
