Can an employer not hire you, if you have hepatitis c?

You asked if an employer can refuse to hire someone because they have a disease.

That is a really great question. Unfortunately it can't be answered without more follow up.

Various laws protect employees and employers. It is the intersection and interpretation of these laws that create the market where lawyers are needed. Does the condition make you part of a protected class or does the condition allow an employer to discriminate because you are a member of an excludable class?
