14 year old bills in collection

i have bill collectors calling me for bills from 1990, and they are not on my credit report. Can i be sued for this money?

Most debt collection is governed by the 4 year statute of limitations pertaining to contracts. If the debt has been reduced to a judgment already it may still be valid. i offer free consultations.
