Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania

recording of phone conversations

we have a court order that allows us to speak with our grandchildren once a week on the phone [we are in a custody battle with the other grandparents] and have just learned from a mediator that they have been tape recording us without our knowledge. The mediator said thy told her it was in the court that they could do this [it is not]. Are they allowed to do this? The mediator said it may be in our best interest to let them that way there would be prove as to what is said between us and we did not say thigs we shouldnt have. Please respond we are being it seems victimized by everyone.

Re: recording of phone conversations

It is illegal in Pennsylvania to record without the consent and knowledge of the other person(unless there is a Court Order usually only done for criminal charges).
