Legal Question in Consumer Law in Pennsylvania

Hello

I had a headlight for sale that was off a 04-05 model Subaru car; I included lots of pictures in great quality so he knew what he was getting. The buyer asked me is it of a 2005, since it is for a 04-05 i replayed "yes". Well now the buyer is taking me to small clams court saying that it is off a 2004 model and not a 2005 b/c they are a lil darker in color inside. Does he have a case agents me? He is threatening me with layer fees and court cost if i loss.

P.S. This deal went on a car forum.

Thanks

Ahhh, the joys of Internet sales.

Anyone can take anyone to court for anything. But few of them will win.

The rule in this case would be buyer beware. The buyer had the opportunity to inspect (or cause to be inspected) the goods before the purchase. After the buyer made an agreement that you accepted the sale was binding.

And in American courts the loser does not pay the attorneys fees of the winner, though costs often are taxed against the loser, they are usually small.

Regards,

Roger
