Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

My boyfriend has bad credit. He has maxed out 4 to 5 credit cards which he does not pay at all. He is often late with his auto loan payments. His auto insurance company is cancelling his policy due to having paid out over $14,000 in claims and late payments of premiums. I have excellent credit. I have 2 credit cards which I use. One gets paid in full every month and the other I pay well over the minimum each month. The balance is about $10,000 and was used for home improvements. I am also a home owner. My question is, if I marry my boyfriend, can any of his financial obligations be attached to me?

You will not be liable to the creditors for your boyfriends debts. However, he should seriously consider a Chapter 7 bankruptcy which will eliminate the debt.
