Re: credit card -jail tme

You need an attorney to help you with this. If these debts did not occur out of or stem from a court order (for example, restitution, child support, alimony) then you cannot go to jail. If they are the result of a court order, and a court determines that there has been a wilful failure to pay on your part, then the court could order incarceration as a contempt sanction. You may have an action unless the creditor/collection agency depending on how they have addressed you and the matter.
