dead person owes me money

If someone just died and they owe me money, how can I collect it? It was a personal loan.

This may be difficult if it was a person to person loan. How do you prove that there was a loan? If you are asking about procedure, then you file a claim against that person's estate or open an estate for that person as a creditor if no one else does.
