Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Debt question

I am waiting for my SSI disability, but it could take several months to recieve it. I have spent nearly all my retirement money, and my only income is $810/month child support. If I stop paying my credit card bills (about 40K) I assume they will get a judgement against me which I would have to pay off if I sell my house (though possible at a lower amount). Do you know how I could access PA state law info to find out if in PA the companies could also put a lien against my house? Thank you. In Pennsylvania can a credit card company put a lien on my property (not just a judgement).

Re: Debt question

You have many issues and must speak to an attorney. What is the stage of your SSA stage. Are you represented by an Attorney?. If you own your home in your name alone and a creditor sues you they can list the judgement as a lien against the property. You should speak with an attorney about these and other issues. I fyou would like to consult with my house you may contact me to schedule an appointment
