Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

My friend was trying to sale her dog because she could no longer afford to take care of her, She was going to send it to the SPCA if no one brought it. I offered to buy it making payments on the dog, I got the dog Sat night, when my kids seen and played with the dog on tues they loved the dog but by Thurs we found out in a horrible way that my youngest is allergic to the dog. She has little rash bumps all over her body and puffy red eyes Fri I told her I couldnt keep the dog and will take her to the spca for her and still give her some money for the time I had the dog and the inconvenience, she trying to say I still have to give her all her money rather I keep the dog or not. What should I do

Pay for the dog. You have the dog and you bought it. If you no longer want the dog, you are free to transfer the dog to the SPCA or sell it to anyone who wishes to buy it.
