payments on medical bills

Is there a law that says you have to accept whatever a patient pays on an account?

I agree with Richard's answer. I work for a number of hospitls and if you contact the hospital and try to work with them they will try to work with you. Good Luck.

No, a creditor does not have to accept partial payment or payments "on-account."
