Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

purchase of a camper

my friend has a 5th wheel camper he is still paying on - he wants us to buy it by making payments to him for 2 years Is this legal? does he still have to keep the insurance on it? We live in southwestern PA

Please advise

I would need to review the documents, including the loan agreement with his bank, and the title, etc. to give you an opinion. This arrangement could possibly violate his contract with the bank.
