Statute of limitations

We are a New Jersey based corporation, doing work for Rite-Aid at the present time they owe us a significant amount of money dating from 95 to present we are no longer performing services for them due to lack of payment, considering their current financial picture which is looking worse by the day I was wondering if we should file suit or continue to wait

Possible to do a workout arranegement?

If not, the suit may be the best alternative, and

if they file for Chapt. 11 protection, follow through
