Chemical test refusal

I was convicted of a dui in Pennsylvania in 3/2001. I was just notified my license is suspended 6 years later due to a refusal to take a blood test at that time. Is this legal?

It seems that quite a bit of time has passed since you were convicted and the civil penalty imposed for refusal. You may have a defense to Penndot's action if you act within the appropriate time limits to appeal this action. It may or may not be defensable but you should immediately consult with an attorney
