Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My ex and I have 50/50 custody of one child, no marriage, etc.. I am however still paying her support. The county I live in is particularly rough in these circumstances. I do want to go back to domestic relations and get this re-evaluated. It seems to me that an attorney isn't really needed in this situation because they seem to go only on income and whomever makes the most pays.

I also have a question regarding custodial parent. If we are 50/50 how is there still a custodial parent and why automatically granted to the mother?

Thanks

Yes, you get a reduction in support based on the fact you child spends more 40% of their nights with you.but that's all you get, Pennsylvania uses an income shares model. It could be worse in New York you'd be paying 17% of you gross income less FICA no matter what mom makes.

While Berks County may seem tougher I can't see anywhere where you position would find favor.
