emergency custody

my ex wife is getting evicted from her mom's house 9-1-2008 and has no place to go, can I get emergency custody of my 15 year old daughter

You might. Then again you could just ask your ex if she'll let you have custody at least until she has a place for the child to live with her. The other factor is what does your daughter want. At her age the judge will at least consider her choice.

Remember asking and offering to help out is a lot cheaper than going to court. Besides there would be barely enough time to get the paper work done and filed. The courts and most everything else will be closed the 1st.
