Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

The father of my 2yr old has hardly seen her in the last couple months and on occasion has mentioned giving up his rights, if he does will he have any rights to her at all and will his family have any rights to her and would he still have to pay child support which is court ordered? Also if need be would I be able to take him back for more support as of right now he only pays $195/month?

News flash for dad unless Child and Youth terminate his rights involuntarily (unlikely as he doesn't see the child) or you ask him to as part of an adoption to voluntarily give up his rights he can NOT just terminate them as it would terminate his duty to support and make your child an orphan. Something the courts of Pennsylvania will NOT do.

You may go back for support modification if you think his income has increased. Support is based on a formula so if a parent gets a raise so does the child support but you have to file a petition.
