uncooperative lawyer

I have been requesting itemized statements and my lawyer refuses and only sends bills.Am I within my right to receive an itemized bill?

Yes, you are within your rights as a client to demand to see an itemized statement as to how your lawyer has used his or her time in working on your case. (This requirement should've

been included in the fee agreement spelling out the terms of the representation. I assume, however, from your account of matters, that it was not. You are nevetheless still entitled to an accounting as to how the professional's time was spent.)
