FMLA AND VACATION

Is my company allowed to schedule my vacation time in conjunction with my FMLA leave. I am taking Maternity Leave and am confused how the law works.

Concurrent FMLA and Vacation time

The Family Medical Leave Act regulations state, at Section 825.207(e), that "Paid vaction or personal leave, including leave earned or accrued under plans allowing 'paid time off', may be substituted, at either the employee's or the employer's option, for any qualified FMLA leave. No limitations may be placed by the employer on substitution of paid vacation or personal leave for these purposes."
