Maturnity Leave

My daughter works fulltime for McDonalds as a shift manager. They do not have maturnity leave can FMLA be of any help to her?

Maybe. If she is a qualified employee and the employer is covered, then the FMLA will protect her leave.

In order to be a qualified employee, your daughter must have worked at McDonald's for more than 1 year and have logged more than 1,250 hours. The employer must have more than 50 employees within a 75 mile radius of where your daughter works.

If all of these conditions have been met, then the FMLA will provide protected leave time.
