Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

appeal small claim judgement

I was awarded a small claim judgement in PA. The defendant has now filed an appeal. The case itself is pretty much clear cut, contract signed one party did not keep their end of the contract. Lease agreement. What can I expect diffently if anything in common pleas court?

Re: appeal small claim judgement

The procedure is mor formal and time consuming in common pleas. It is difficult to represent yourself in these cases but costly to retain legal representation. You should consult with an attorney to advise you on your situation. You must strictly adhere to the rules in responding to the appeal and file a complaint within twenty days.
