Collections and Magistrate

I owe a child care provider for bills from 6 years ago and the child care provider sent the debt to a collection agency, now she is taking me to the magistrate is this legal?

Its not whether its legal or not its will she be able to get the court to make you pay up?

The answer to that question is NO. Under Pennsylvania law you have to take legal action on a contract with in 4 years of the end of the contract. So if the last time you had the children in daycare was over for years ago then the claim would be barred by the Statute of Limitations.
