My 1 year old is suffering for worst case scenario

My son got 2 dvts in the right leg. I was told the clot should go away almost by itself. But it got bigger and it shouldn't have. Now his dr told me from the first clots he will have permanent vein damage. I was wondering do i have a case against the hospital if i decided to sue?

I would need more information regarding this case. What do you mean by dvts/ When did he first have the problem. When did presumably a doctor tell you the clot would go away by itself? How old is your son?
