Legal Question in Immigration Law in Pennsylvania

I am a legal resident since 1983, my spouse is a US born citizen. We married in 1990. My question is, How do i become a US citizen?Do i have to go through all the steps as if i were single or would it be easier or faster now? We married in NY now we live in PA.

To become a USA citizen, you need to file the form N-400 with the USCIS/DHS and pay the filing fee (which is currently $675). Since you've been a permanent resident since 1983, it doesn't matter whether you are married or not. There is no automatic grant of citizenship in this scenario.

If approved and passed the naturalization test, you'll be called for the Oath ceremony. After that, you'll become a USA citizen.
