Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Hello,

I was fired yesterday.I gave my previous employer 1 weeks notice, came to find that I could give them a full 2 weeks. For this they forced me to sign a resignation form, and I was fired.I thought I was doing the right thing.I feel that I was discriminated against, and definitely a defamation of character issue.

I do not have any other means of money coming in,and I am in limbo between jobs.Do you think I have a case? Please respond,thank-you.

In general, in order to present a discrimination claim, the termination must be the result of discriminatory conduct against a protected class such as gender, race, age, disability. Accordingly, one must determine, for example, whether you were terminated because of your age or race. It cannot be determined based on your description whether you have a meritorious case of discrimination. Feel free to contact our office in order to further evaluation the merits of your claim.
