Re: injured at work

Under the Pennsylvania workers compensation system, if your employer has workers comp insurance, you cannot sue them for work related injuries. However, if someone(other than your employer or a co-worker) was responsible for your injuries, you may be able to sue them. (for instance if you were injured by a faulty piece of equipment, you could sue the equipment manufacturer) You should talk to an attorney about this, and also talk to an attorney about the workers comp settlement that you said you are being offered, to determine if you should take it.
