Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

I am divorced over 13months now. Unfortunatley when I got divorced I agreed that the proceeds for the house would be split evenly. We decided that we were adults and could live in the same house. We cant. The situation is getting hostile. I pay the mortgage every month and always have. He pays all the other bills. I want to just be rid of the house. I dont care anymore. He can have it in full. I want to sign it over to him but he wont let me. I cant believe that I have no rights in this situation and have to be constantly sick or stressed because of a piece of property. Do I have rights? Can I just sign it over to him free and clear even if he doesnt want me to?

Please help me Im getting desperate.

Thank you,

Sabrina Cruz

Call your divorce attorney. Any agreement can be changed, if the situation changes, or there were unforeseeable conditions. If the proceeds will be split, then that requires that the house is to be sold, so, SELL THE HOUSE. If he will not cooperate, then you go to court to compel him to get out of the way of the sale. The more he fights or trys to screw things up, the worse he makes his position, and you ask for the attorneys fees to come out of his half of the proceeds! Maybe that will make him behave!
