Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Violation of lease?

If a tennants lease specifies single occupancy, can the tenant let guests occupy the apartment when they are away?

My parents own a duplex and they often see stangers come in and out of the apartment with a key when the tennant is away on vacation.

Re: Violation of lease?

Depends on who long the lease says they may have overnight visitors. If the lease doesn't say then they can.

Its not clear if they have pets or just had someone house sit while they were away.
