Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania
my mother-in-law passed away on 3/1/2010. she lived with my husband's only brother and evil sister-in-law. my husband has been estranged from these people for quite some time. how do we find out if my husband was in the will or not without having to contact these people?

Every Will is filed with the register of wills and is public record. If the attorney for the estate will not send you a copy, you can get one from the Register of Wills. If you do not trust the accounting of expenses or distribution of assets, you need to retain an attorney.
