Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

I been employed by the same company for 11 years. I was told last month the I need an operation for corpral tunnel in my hand. The business was sold 10 months ago and the new that owner said he dose not have to submit a claim because he did not own the business when this happened.

Assuming that there is a clear causal connection between the condition and your employment, you are entitled to benefits from your employer. A repetitive trauma is considered an aggravation of a pre-existing condition. Consequently, each day that you work is considered a new trauma.
