Legal Question in Immigration Law in Philippines
My 4 kids entered Philippines 3 years ago using Japan passport. Iam a Filipino citizen married to a Japanese. Now that we are planning to go back to Japan, Bureau of Immigration is asking us to pay the Recognition Fee. Can my children just get a Philippine passport and not apply for that Recognition as Fil. Citizen? Thank u very much.

Rather than going through the recognition as Filipino Citizen process, it would be better for you to apply for Philippine passports for your kids. They can get Philippine passports because their mother is a Filipino Citizen.
