Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Philippines

debt

i just recieve a demand letter its about our remaining balance to my husbands co worker we did'nt have any papers signed regarding that debt its just verbal now his demending to sue us if we dont pay the balance the thing is when the demand letter arrived we recieve and signed it now im confused i think we made a mistake signing that demand letter? what should we do? do we ignore it? pls. advise us thank you

You have to be honest if you really owe the debt you have to pay for it and stop finding ways to avoid it.The law will sooner or later get on you.
