Property in Philippines

What is my right in our property there in the Philippines(a condominium) which my ex- sister in law lived there since 1990 when we moved here in US,now I am ready to take it back (me and my husband are already divorced.) but my ex-husband doesn't want his sister to moved out there. I don't have any documents with me regarding that place, my ex-husband has it, please help I'm lost.

You give us almost no facts as to what the ownership is, so it is impossible to give yo any answer, aside from the fact that the property law there will be at least somewhat different from American law. You need to find out what the ownership is, under what rights did your ex-sister-in-law live there, etc. Maybe you can get a friend there to look some of the documents up if they wee filed with the County recorders Office, etc.

Well it is important that you engage a counsel of your own choice to do this work for you.If you are the owner or a co-owner to the said condominium you have the legal right to eject your ex-sister-in-law.Hope you find your way out in this legal issue.
