Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Puerto Rico

Father's Will

My father left a will. My half-brother is the executor. I obtained a certified copy of the will from Puerto Rico and I am named in the will. The will states that the monies should be shared equally by the children. No dollar amount is stated. I do not know my brother. No one has contacted me here in North Carolina. How do I go about claiming what is mine?

Re: Father's Will

The executor must contact you in order to liquidate the estate. However, if you want to force the liquidation of the estate then you would have to initiate a proceeding.
