Legal Question in Personal Injury in Rhode Island

hit by car; crashed through building

in building when driver drove car through it. said accellerator stuck. acellerator checked by state impound, working properly. brake pedal depressed on inspection. driving's insurance saying driving not negligent due to faulty breaks, supposedly worked on couple of weeks before. witnesses said heard car while in the parking lot as though the accel pedal were depressed and then the car went right into building. I sustained injuries. ? did the driver show care when operating vehical? person not given breathalizer. witnesses as to his drinking at function.

I hope your injuries are getting adequate medical attention and that you are feeling better.

There is much information that is not yet available that is important in determining whether the driver's insurance company should compensate you for your injuries and/or the property damaged in the incident.
