Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

child support

My husband is unimpoyed rigt now and the S.S. department is aware that he has a 13 year old son he pays support to each month,they are not paying for th support,nor is the amount of unimployment he is reciving barely enough for us to live on. His ex-wife is aware of this fact and now intendes to go after him legely.In short,can she do so kowing he is unimployed and two thes.s. department is aware and has on file the matter. What should we do?

She has the right to seek child support from him. There is nothing you can do to stop that. However, if he is unemployed, she certainly wouldn't get much. Good luck.
