divorce, vinculo matrimonii

what exactly does this term mean; read something on internet about marriage that never legally existed???

"A vinculo matrimonii" is Latin for "from the bond of marriage." Sometimes is it included in a divorce decree, and other times it isn't, but it adds nothing to a divorce in SC other than a few Latin words.
