Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My best friend is in an awful situation with her husband and is considering divorce under the circumstances of habitual drukenness by way of a narcotic. He has been mingling and spending nights away from home with several females and takes money from their bank account to feed his addiction. Faced with the reality of losing her home, car and many other things, she can no longer subject her 12 year old daughter to it. How could she prove her case when she files for divorce on those grounds?

The items used as proof in cases of habitual drunkenness (which includes drug use) tend to vary widely from case to case, depending on the facts of each particular situation.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
