Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

im planning to try to terminate my ex's parental rights because he hasnt tried to support our daughter in 11 months and i want my husband to adopt her. will my ex be notified and will me not having proof of me asking for help hurt my chances?

The father is required to be notified of any attempt to terminate his parental rights in order for the case to go forward. You are required to prove the grounds that you allege.
