Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

If I am separated (not legally) and planning a divorce my wife insists on (with kids involved) and I find documentation she bought a timeshare property with a current boyfriend as co-owner and he signs his name as his legal first name but uses my last name on the documentation have they broken a law? What impact would this have to any custody issues? and what legal issues does it have to them?

Thank you,

Paul Tierney

The key question here is what you want to accomplish and then it becomes a question of strategy as to how best use that information. It's not possible to get into the details in this forum, because much morei information is needed.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.SpartanburgLawyers.com). I wish you the best of luck.
